Nasiq Khan
2020 Fall Fellow
Nasiq Khan is an architect and urban planner working at the intersection of economic development, green infrastructure, and resilience. As a first-generation immigrant and proud Queens resident, his work is focused on improving the lives of disadvantaged communities through increasing access to public space and creating platforms for upward social mobility. Recent work includes developing masterplans to increase waterfront access for communities in West Oakland and East Palo Alto, working with Google to develop smart city infrastructure, and coordinating coastal resilience improvements for Manhattan following Hurricane Sandy.
