Preserve your Memories with TSOTBQE Oral History Project


We are seeking participants for intergenerational audio interviews. Oral history facilitators Mitra Bonshahi and Adriana Gallardo are recording and archiving these interviews to preserve the collective stories of people living near the divisive BQE. Recordings will be available online and shared at a community listening event later this year.

Film Screening: The Story of the BQE 


We held the first public screening of The Story of the BQE at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Williamsburg in partnership with Segregation by Design. Missed it? Another screening is planned for the Fall.

Janet Fink named Executive Director of the IPA


Ms. Fink’s involvement with the IPA extends back to 2020 when she joined as residency director, leading selected topic fellowships that explored alternatives to the BQE.
