Really Not Really

2026 Fall Fellows

Really Not Really is an artist duo formed by Hermano Luz Rodrigues (Brazil; currently a PhD researcher at Centre for Creative Technologies, University of Galway) and Stephanie Lee Yeung (NY) a Creative Director at MAS Event & Design. The duo’s interdisciplinary practice bridges architecture, public art, and creative technology. They met during their Master in Design Studies at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, focusing on Art, Design, and the Public Domain.

Their work engages with underrepresented social and political issues, using public space and technology to create playful, inclusive, and thought-provoking experiences. Combining critical inquiry with interactive and creative approaches, they aim to spark dialogue and broaden public awareness around urgent societal concerns.

Their projects have been recognized through various grants and residencies, including the Brazil Cities Research Grant from the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies and the Con/Crit/Tec (Technologies of Critical Conscientization) led by Center for Arts, Design + Social Research in Sao Paulo. They also served as curators of the Kirkland Gallery at Harvard GSD in 2020 and 2021.
