Massimiliano Malagò

2026 Fall Visiting Fellow




Massimiliano Malagò is an Italian architect working across cultural, civic, and residential typologies. Based in New York City, his experience spans municipal buildings and private developments, with projects ranging from train stations to religious institutions and mixed-use housing.

He is especially interested in isomorphic design and the ways architecture engages political theory.

Massimiliano completed his training at OMA, BoND, and HOK, and has taught at Columbia University’s GSAPP. He runs his practice from downtown New York and is licensed in the states of New York and Arizona.
