Dhruvi Rajpopat
2025 Spring FellowDhruvi Rajpopat is an emerging professional and architectural designer with a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Dhruvi is enamoured by the intersections that architecture holds with the desire to make art, concepts of time, sociology, and infrastructural policy, and how these concepts impact the life of the everyday individual. This results in her interdisciplinary practice, consisting of experiments in documenting first-person narratives, storytelling through film, and using hands-on techniques in mixed-media which allows her to channel empathy as a driver for design. Her variety of approaches are employed to deeply understand humans, our role amongst the natural world, and the spaces in which we reach moments of self-realization. Dhruvi is an advocate for improving architectural standards of practice and academia. She was the recipient of the NJSOA Thesis Prize in 2024 and received the AIAS National Chapter Leader Honor Award in 2023.
