Angel Beale

2025 Spring Fellow

Angel Beale is a licensed architect, product designer, and amateur programmer from Puerto Rico. His professional experience includes environmental branding for IBM, enclosure engineering for ShoP, and structural packaging for Budweiser. Operating in both San Juan and New York, his studio explores the physical scale of building enclosure by looking at the production scale of manufacturing in order to make lightweight structures that can be assembled by one person, without tools, from parts that can be mass produced. He studied Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design and earned a Master’s Degree from the Yale School of Architecture.
