Sofia Dreyer

2025 Fall Fellow

Sofía Frasquet Dreyer is an architect and researcher based in Buenos Aires whose work examines how buildings evolve within rapidly changing economic, social, and technological contexts. Her current research focuses on the transformation of structures in the financial and coastal areas of New York and Buenos Aires, tracing how these sites adapt to shifting urban economies and new patterns of use. She has received support for her work from the National Fund for the Arts (FNA) and the Scientific and Technical Secretariat (UBACyT).

Sofía holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (FADU, UBA) and leads an independent practice dedicated to adaptive reuse, reimagining spaces across a range of scales and programs.
