At the 9th Annual Fall Fête we packed both floors at LMCC the Arts Center and continued the celebration with a joyous Friends Party at the Block House on Governors Island. We honored Polly Trottenberg, Deputy Secretary at USDOT, and Adam Paul Susaneck, Founder of Segregation by Design, who received the inaugural IPA Urban Research Award. The Fete marks our first full year as a tenant on Governors Island, during which we renovated the historic Block House, hosted our inaugural Independent Project Summer Residency, ran our signature Fall Fellowship program on the BQE, and held many public panels, exhibitions, and events.
