Join us on August 9th from 8:00-9:30pm at the Block House on Governors Island for a program of rarely-screened film selections focusing on the intersection of architecture, urbanism, and radical use of public space. We are honored to partner with the historic Film-Makers Cooperative– the largest archive and distributor of independent and avant-garde films in the world to show rarely screened films addressing topics of agency and joy in public space. Film lineup curated by filmmaker, Zacarias Gonzalez.

Travel note: Ferries run between Manhattan and Governors Island every 30 minutes. Ferry tickets must be purchased for this event at the Battery Maritime Terminal. Please visit govisland.com for ferry schedules and more information.

This program is made possible by the Film-Makers Cooperative.
