Jennifer Pham

Research Assistant


Jennifer Pham is the IPA’s 2024 Spring Residency Research Assistant. With a passion for the intersection of spatial design and social justice, she eagerly supports design practitioners  addressing the complex issues shaping our built environment. She holds a Bachelor of  Architectural Science from the Toronto Metropolitan University, and a Master of Architecture from  the Rhode Island School of Design. Her master’s thesis, Soft City: Reclaiming Urban Public Spaces for Play, utilizes a participatory design approach, exploring the potential for public spaces to be fluid, inclusive, and engender a collective spirit through engagement. Jennifer’s work with the IPA’s Residency Program and Fellows’ research reflects her commitment to improving the livability and  equity of the public realm.
